8.3  User Management – User

  • Overview:

The User tab under User Management allows admins to view and manage all user profiles within the DaaS platform. It includes options to monitor storage, assign roles and groups, and control user activity.

8.3.1 Key Elements Displayed:

  • Name: The user’s full name. 

  • Role: The assigned role within the platform.

  • Space Usage: Displays used storage space visually (e.g., 5 GB), along with a progress bar.

  • Group: Indicates the department or team assigned.

  • Status: Shows current user activity status. “Active” is shown in green.

Action Options:

  • Edit : Update user details.
  • Delete : Remove user from the system.
  • Toggle Switch: Activate or deactivate the account.

8.3.2 Additional Controls:

  • Search Bar: Allows search by user name, role, or group.

Add (+) Button:
Clicking this button opens the Add New User form. The following fields are required to create a new user:

  • Username: Enter a unique username.
  • Name: Full name of the user.
  • Email: Valid email address.
