3.3.1 Search Functionality

Search Overview The search functionality is conspicuously situated in the upper right quadrant of the "File Management" interface. It provides users with the ability to conduct rapid and precise file queries by providing access to sophisticated parameters through a drop-down menu.


Key Features of the Search Box:

  • Comprehensive text search facilitates exhaustive text inquiries across all documents, guaranteeing that no pertinent information is overlooked.
  • Pinyin Search It enables users to search for files by inputting Pinyin, which is a method that is well-known to those who are accustomed to it.
  • Search for the first letter It enables queries using the first letters of Pinyin, which is notably beneficial for locating folders, thereby facilitating rapid file retrieval.

Customizing the Search Scope:

  • Current Folder/All Folders Users have the ability to determine whether the search should be limited to the current folder or extend across all folders, thereby improving the precision of the search.

File Type Filtering:

  • Preset File Categories The system organizes files into folders, documents, images, music, videos, and more. Additionally, users have the ability to establish their own file formats in order to conduct more precise searches.

Time Range Search:

  • Date of Creation Users can simplify the process of locating files by specifying a time range for file creation, which simplifies the process of determining the date of their creation.

File Size Filtering:

  • Search Based on File Size Users can locate files of a specific size or within a defined range by filtering search results by file size.
  • Departmental Network Disk Users have the ability to search for files that were generated by a particular individual in the enterprise environment, which is especially beneficial for team collaborations.

3.3.2 Options for File Viewing
File Management View Modes Within the file administration module of the Kedao Cloud system, there are three distinct viewing modes: List View, Icon View, and Column View.
Icon Mode Images are automatically displayed as thumbnails in this mode, in addition to a variety of file icons. Users can effortlessly modify the dimensions of the icon and organize files according to their preferences.
List Mode List Mode provides a methodical approach to file management. Customizable alterations, such as the capacity to resize and drag the title bar and the unlimited expansion of folders with subdirectories, are supported.
Column Mode Column Mode, which is modeled after the Mac OS interface, enables users to expand multi-level folders in columns. The administration of intricate folder hierarchies is substantially simplified by the ease with which files can be transferred between columns.

3.3.3 Information (Properties) Panel
Attributes Overview:

Fundamental Information displays critical file information, including the size, file count, creator/modifier, personal notes, and keywords.
Document permissions clarify the actions that the user is permitted to take by specifying the specific permissions that have been granted to the document.
File Activity Provides a comprehensive record of file dynamics by tracking the history of file actions, such as uploads, modifications, and downloads.
Version History records all modifications to the file, including the modifier, modification time, and version history, for future reference.
Related Information It indicates whether the file is linked to other files, which is essential for comprehending file dependencies.
