4.1.1 File SelectionManager Home Page Overview

The File Manager serves as your digital workspace for accessing, organizing, and managing files within the Dots system. Embedded inside an iframe (an inline frame that displays web content inside a page), the interface is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly. Below is a breakdown of each section to help you navigate the Home Page effectively.

This vertical menu on the left allows you to switch between different file selection methods, providing users with a familiar and efficient experience similar to that of a local Windows system.

    File Drag and Drop Select a file or folder and drag it to a target location such as a different folder, address bar item, or directory tree item to move or copy it.
     
    Composite Key Operations To create a copy of a file or folder, hold down Ctrl while dragging the item to the target location. This action duplicates the file in the new location.
