6.3Benchmark Reports
1. Introduction to the Dots Logo Application
This guide provides comprehensive documentation for administrators managing the Dots Logo application. It covers navigation, system settings, user management, and detailed reporting features, including the configuration of benchmark reports.
2. Navigating the Admin Interface
The Dots Logo admin interface is organized into several key sections accessible via the left-hand navigation pane.
- Account: Manage account-specific settings and access various reports.
- Reports and Analytics: Dive into system data and generate reports.
- Activity Reports
-Custom Graph - Benchmark Reports
- Advanced Collaboration Insights
- Threshold Graph
3. Reports and Analytics: Benchmark Reports
The Benchmark Reports feature allows administrators to set performance benchmarks for various activities within the Dots Logo application. By defining these target values, you can easily compare actual system performance against desired metrics, helping to identify areas for improvement or success.
3.1 Accessing Benchmark Reports
To access the Benchmark Reports configuration:
3.2 Understanding the Benchmark Form
The Benchmark Form is where you define the target percentage or value for different activity types. The form is structured with tabs for various activity categories, allowing you to set benchmarks for each.
Activity Categories (Tabs):
At the top of the Benchmark Form, you will find several tabs representing different categories of activities for which you can set benchmarks:
- User Activity: Define benchmarks related to individual user actions and engagement.
- Group Activity: Set benchmarks for actions performed by user groups.
- RBAC (Role-Based Access Control): Configure benchmarks for activities related to user roles and permissions.
- File Management: Establish benchmarks for operations involving files and documents.
- Security Activity: Define benchmarks for security-related events and actions.
- System Performance Activity: Set benchmarks for overall system performance metrics.
3.2.1 Configuring Benchmarks for User Activity
When the User Activity tab is selected (as shown in the example image), you can define the following benchmark percentages:
-
Successful Logout (%): Enter the target percentage of successful user logouts.
-
Active Users (%): Define the desired percentage of active users within a given period.
-
Inactive Users (%): Set the acceptable percentage of inactive users.
-
Successful Login (%): Enter the target percentage for successful user logins.
-
Max Size Space (%): Define the maximum percentage of storage space used.
-
File Uses Size (%): Set the target percentage for file usage or consumption.
3.2.2 Configuring Benchmarks for Group Activity
when the Group Activity tab is selected (as shown in the example image), you can define the following benchmark percentages:
- Most Active Group (%): Define the target percentage representing the group with the highest activity level.
- Total Users in Groups (%): Specify the percentage of total users that should belong to one or more groups.
- File Sharing Between Groups (%): Set the desired percentage of files shared between different user groups.
- Size Used in Group (%): Indicate the average storage usage percentage across all groups.
- Max Size in Group (%): Define the maximum allowed storage usage percentage for any single group.
- Most Inactive Group (%): Set the percentage representing the group with the least activity level.
