11. IP Block

11.1 IP Block

The IP Block feature enables administrators to restrict system access for specific users or groups by blocking particular IP addresses. This enhances security by preventing unauthorized access from suspicious or external networks.

11.2 Overview

On opening the IP Block section, you will see a table displaying the following columns:

  • Name: The name of the user associated with the IP block.
  • Group: The group to which the user belongs.
  • IP Address: The IPv4 address that has been blocked.
  • Created Date: The date the IP block was added.
  • Action: Click the delete icon to remove the existing IP block from the list.

Notes: If there are no existing entries, the table will display a message: "NO Records".

11.3 How to Add a New IP Block


To create a new IP block entry:

Click on the "+" (plus icon) button on the top right corner of the screen to open the IP Block creation form.

Fill in the following required fields:

  • Group: Pick the user group for which you want to enforce the IP block restriction.
  • User: Select one or more Username from the chosen group to apply the block.
  • Enter IPv4: Input the exact IPv4 address that you intend to restrict access from.

Once all details are filled in correctly, click on "Create" to apply the restriction.

11.4 Search Functionality
  • Use the Search bar located at the top to quickly locate specific users, roles, or groups related to existing IP block entries.
