6.5 Geo Graph

6.5.1 Geo Graph Overview

The Geo Graph feature under the Reports and Analytics section provides a visual representation of user activity across the globe. It allows clients to monitor and analyze where their users are located and whether they are active or inactive within a selected time frame.

6.5.2 Filter Options

Clients can filter the data using the following options available at the top of the interface:

  • Select Activity: This dropdown allows the client to choose the type of user activity they want to view, such as login, logout, uploads, or idle users.

  • Select Company: Clients can select a specific company from the dropdown to view the users associated with that organization.

  • Select Date: A calendar filter lets the client choose a specific date or date range to analyze user activity during that period.

6.5.3 Map Interaction

Once the filters are applied, the map automatically updates to display users’ locations. The interface supports zooming in and out for better regional focus. Hovering over or clicking a user marker reveals more details like the user’s name, last active time, and location.

6.5.4 User Status Indicators

Each user is represented visually on the map with markers that indicate their current status:

  • Active Users are usually marked with a green icon or dot. These represent users who have recently performed activities such as logging in, uploading, or interacting with the system.

  • Deactive (Inactive) Users are typically shown with a yellow or gray icon. These users have not shown any recent activity and may need follow-up or re-engagement.

6.5.4 Use Cases

This tool is especially useful for:

  • Identifying regions with high user activity, allowing companies to understand where engagement is strong.

  • Spotting inactive user zones, helping in making decisions about user outreach, support, or performance improvement.

  • Analyzing user behavior by geography, which can assist with regional planning or audits.

  • Enhancing support and troubleshooting, as clients can investigate issues regionally if users are reporting problems from a specific area.

6.5.5 Important Notes
  • User location data must be enabled for this feature to function correctly.

  • If no data is shown, double-check that the correct filters have been applied.

  • Clients with company admin access will only be able to see data related to their specific company.
