15.2 System Widgets Overview
The Widgets section, as displayed in the image, provides users with a collection of interactive utility tools organized under different categories for easy access and personalization.
15.2.1 Widgets Tabs
Explore the Five Tabs Below:
- All: This tab displays all available widgets from every category in one unified view, allowing clients to easily browse and select tools without switching between individual categories.
- File Analytics: Offers 3 widgets that provide metrics on file usage patterns, access frequency, and modification trends, helping users and admins track content engagement and document flow.
- User Activity Logs: Features a widget that display recent actions performed by users, such as logins, file edits, and access times—useful for monitoring behavior and auditing purposes.
- Sharing Insights: Includes a widget that visualize how files are shared internally and externally, highlighting sharing frequency, access methods, and potential security concerns.
- Privilege Requests: Contains a widget summarizing user access or role elevation requests, including approval statuses, request volume, and average response time.
- Comments & Mentions: Presents a widget that surface recent user comments and mentions across the system, helping teams stay informed about collaboration and communication happening around content.

15.2.2 File Analytics Widget

The File Analytics widget offers three distinct layouts to visualize and track file usage data. Clients can configure these widgets by assigning specific users who are authorized to view them.
Key Features:
User-Specific Visibility: Only users explicitly added by the client can access and view the widget data.
Search Functionality: Users can easily search for files by name to quickly locate specific documents or assets.
Advanced Filters:
File Type: Filter analytics by document types such as PDFs, csv, txt, docs, folder, PNG, pptx etc.
Date Range: View file activity within a selected time frame.
Groups & Roles: Narrow down analytics based on user groups or assigned roles within the system.

The User Activity Logs widget displays recent login activity across the system, providing visibility into user access patterns and session history.
Key Features:
Login Activity Monitoring: Shows a chronological list of recent user logins, including timestamps and user identification for audit and security purposes.
Targeted Visibility: Clients can assign this widget to specific users based on:
Groups – display logs for members of designated user groups.
Company – limit visibility to users within a particular organization or tenant.
Roles – tailor access according to user roles, such as admin, editor, or viewer.

15.2.4 Sharing Insights Widget
The Sharing Insights widget provides visibility into the most accessed shared items within the system, helping track engagement and identify high-interest content.
Key Features:
Top Shared Items: Displays a ranked list of the most frequently accessed shared files or folders, based on real-time usage data.
Targeted Configuration: Clients can assign the widget to specific users with visibility scoped by:
Groups – limit insights to shared activity within selected user groups.
Roles – filter data based on user roles such as admin, contributor, or viewer.
Company – tailor access and data visibility by organizational unit or tenant.

15.2.5 Privilege Requests Widget
The Privilege Requests widget tracks and displays user access requests for files and folders, providing a centralized view of permission-related activity.
Key Features:
Access Request Overview: Shows the total number of files and folders available for users to request access to, as defined by the client or administrator.
Request Status Tracking: Displays the current status of all privilege requests, categorized as:
Completed – requests that have been approved or resolved.
Pending – requests awaiting action from the admin or client.
Canceled – requests withdrawn by the user or dismissed by the administrator.

15.2.6 Comments & Mentions Widget
The Comments & Mentions widget highlights top user interactions on shared files, offering insights into collaboration and communication activity across the system.
Key Features:
Top Comments Display: Showcases the most recent or frequently engaged comments made on shared files.
Comment Details: Each entry includes:
User Name – who made the comment or mention.
Role – the user's assigned role (e.g., Admin, Editor, Viewer).
Date – timestamp of the comment or mention.

15.2.7 System Widget Settings
In this panel, the user can configure display preferences by selecting the following parameters:

Client: The client account for which the widgets should be displayed.

Company: The company or business unit within the selected client.

Group: A specific team or department within the company.

Role: The user role (e.g., Admin, Manager, Viewer) for which the widget visibility should be configured.
After making these selections, the user must click the "Save" button. This saves the configuration for all applicable widgets.
Once the settings are saved, clicking the eye icon on any corresponding widget will display the widget according to the saved configuration. The widget content will be filtered and shown based on the selected client, company, group, and role.
